There are a few weeks left to enjoy McGrail Vineyards' summer event series "Friday Night Live – an Experience of the Senses,'' featuring local cuisine and musicians.
The series, which initially kicked off in June, takes place every other Friday night through Sept. 1.
"Our winery’s core value is community and creating unforgettable experiences," said Heather McGrail in a statement highlighting the event.
"We want to offer locals and visitors an escape where they can create memorable moments. The combination of live music, wine and local cuisine is a match made in heaven," she added.
The summer fun continues this Friday (Aug. 4) with live funk, groove, R&B and Motown music from East Bay Grooveline with food for purchase from Marty’s Joint Food Truck and Aldo’s Gelato.
Lavender Fields Band is set to perform on Aug. 18 with sounds that are "soothing to the soul," including a little pop and soul, a bit of country and rock and a touch of folk and R&B. Aldo's Gelato will be on-site again that evening along with Fonseca’s Mexican Food Truck.
Funk Shui – whose sound is influenced by funk, R&B, soul and dance culture – will close out the series on Sept 1.
Each Friday Night Live event is from 6-9 p.m. and performances take place on the front lawn stage. The winery encourages guests to bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating.
McGrail Vineyards is located at 5600 Greenville Road in Livermore. Tickets to Friday Night Live can be purchased on their website.
